Geologists who study hydrology, environmental engineering, and geotechnical
problems associated with mining and water management rather than hydrocarbon
exploration will find this book is aimed at them. On the other hand if you are
expecting a volume which deals with new wave 3-D seismic interpretation, then
this may not be the book for you, though it does consider geological databases
derived from a variety of sources (including seismic) and how this information
can be displayed in a 3-D format.
